		<description>Another reason for not including references in a resume is to protect our references.  We should only give them out after the job interview if the recruiter is still interested in proceeding ahead.  If that is the case, we should let the references know ahead of time to expect a call...</description>

		<description>I&#039;m not sure where you&#039;re from, but in North America, references are a given.  Employers assume that you have references, so there&#039;s no need to add a line saying that references are available upon request.  If you are called for an interview and the interviewer likes you, he/she will ask for references at that point.</description>
